The latest personal insolvency statistics show that the North West still has stubbornly high rates of personal insolvency, north west constituencies featuring in the top ten highest for all personal insolvency cases in 2015.
Preston is showing at No 6 in the overall insolvency rates, with 265 cases at a rate of 35.7 per 10,000 population.

Burnley – No 8 with a rate of 6.5 cases per 10,000
Debt Relief Orders (DRO)
Preston – No 6 with a rate of 19.3 cases per 10,000
Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA)
Blackpool South – No 3 with a rate of 17.4 cases per 1000
